An endearing pop culture duo that you may remember is Sam and Max, the anthropomorphic Irish Wolfhound and lagomorph who make their living stopping crooks as Freelance Police. Originally debuting as a comic by Steve Purcell in 1987, Sam and Max have gone on to inspire a multitude of media including multiple video games and a 1993 animated series. And yet in all their appearances, the pair have never been immortalized as action figures aside from statues and vinyl collectibles that is of course, until later this year.

The figures are produced by toy company Boss Fight Studios who became famous for their Vitruvian Hacks and Bucky O'Hare toy lines. Taking cues from their other lines, Boss Fight's Sam and Max feature beautiful sculpts replicating Purcell's style with loads of accessories for playability and display. Both figures include multiple hands, heads with different facial expressions, and guns. Character specific accessories include a Max paper bag head for Sam, telephone, and one of the many rats who inhabit Sam and Max's world. Date or quarter has been announced regarding the availability of the pair, but they should be up on the Boss Fight Studio site for pre-order later this year.
