Exclusive: Comics' Longest Running Romantic Triangle Solved!

The world of mutants was rocked today with the confirmation that one of the longest-running love triangles in modern mutant history has been resolved. During the last group orgy on the island of Krakoa, our Krakoan correspondent Kent Shakespeare observed the power couple of Wolverine, Cyclops, and Marvel Girl sharing a beer together and leaving in a teleportation flower to the Summers’ family home on the moon.

Kent Shakespeare was able to track down Marvel Girl, Jean Grey, for an interview a few days later. What follows is an excerpt from the said interview:

You Don’t Read Comics’ Kent Shakespeare: So, scuttlebutt around the nation has noticed you’re rather close to both the mutants named Wolverine and Cyclops.

Jean Grey: Well, I would hope I’m close to Cyclops. He is my husband from my previous life.

YDRC: As in reincarnation, a resurrection, or...?

Jean Grey: Both and neither. It’s a little complicated, but I’ve married Scott Summers twice now. It seems we’ve been abusing the “till death do us part” of our vows, I must admit.

YRDC: And what about the man known as Wolverine? I couldn’t help but notice he was awfully chummy with the two of you.

Jean Grey: We have been friends and teammates for what feels like decades now. Is it so unusual to want to spice things up?

YRDC: Would this, then, be a confirmation of the rumors circulating last week’s celebration?

Jean Grey: Well, Scott still has Emma on the side. And, quite frankly, we all have our kinks and secrets. While what we do in our bedrooms should be no one’s business but our own, I simply must say… why choose? Logan and Scott are both wonderful men who know boundaries and when to share like adults.
