McFarlane Toys My Hero Academia Display // NYTF2019
Continuing with their line of Anime figures, McFarlane Toys announced a new assortment of action figures based on the series My Hero Academia. A reinterpretation of the superhero genre MHA has won the hearts of fans with its themes, world-building, and a massive cast of characters.
The first wave will include the characters of young Izuku, heroic All Might, explosive Bakugo, and villainous Shigaraki. The toys feature the new 22 points of articulation popularized by McFarlane's Fortnite line and will include character specific accessories such as energy effects for Izuku and Bakugo and extra hands for Shigaraki. All Might lacks accessories but makes up for it by being a taller figure than his wave mates.
Prototypes of Izuku and Shigaraki were on hand demonstrating the impressive sculpts of the toys, and all four are scheduled for release in Fall 2019.
