Bandai Dragon Ball Display // NYTF2020
We’ve covered the Dragon Ball Super Stars line by Bandai of America in the past, but NYTF 2020 proves that the company is far from done with the iconic characters from Akira Toriyama!
On display were the latest Super Stars figures such as Cooler, Bardock, and SSJ4 Gogeta. Bandai also displayed figures from their Dragon Ball Super Evolve assortment, 5" scaled figures of Goku, Broly, and Vegeta retailing at $9.99.
There was also the Final Blast series, super-deformed miniature-figures portraying characters from the franchise performing their most iconic attacks. Goku and Gohan can be seen unleashing the Kamehameha, while Vegeta uses his Final Flash attack. The figures can be displayed individually or connected, and retail for $12.99.
Finally, the most exciting aspect of Bandai’s display recreating the famed Tenkaichi Budōkai or World Martial Arts tournament for dubbed fans. The diorama looks fantastic and can epically display two Super Stars figures in epic combat. Hopefully, the set’s success leads to more dioramas of Dragon Ball’s many distinctive locals.
