PESTILENCE #1 REVIEW: DEATH BEGINS

This new AfterShock Comics story by Frank Tieri asks the important question: "What if the plague...the Black Death....was actually zombies?" This is a very interesting concept as zombies just make every story better. 

Now the story doesn't drop us right in the middle of the chaos...we get some early breathing room to flesh out our merry band of Crusaders. Our hero, Roderick, is virtuous...and his comrades range from quiet and mysterious, to drunk and boisterous...but they mesh together well, and are meant to be presented as a tried and tested group of essentially Black Ops Vatican soldiers. A dynamic that is sure to give us plenty of awesome gore-filled moments of zombie destruction!
