PREDATOR HUNTERS #2 REVIEW: CLICK, CLICK, BOOM!

PREDATOR HUNTERS #2 REVIEW: CLICK, CLICK, BOOM!

We are back with PREDATOR HUNTERS #2 of a 5 issue series by writer CHRIS WARNER and artist FRANCISCO RUIZ VELASCO... Issue #1 introduced us to the cast, and issue #2 is used primarily to fill out the backstory and flesh out our "Hunters"....for some reason, this whole issue, I couldn't shake the feeling that most (if not all) of these characters were just being fattened up for the slaughter...way too many characters on this alien hunting roster...i guess we shall see. One neat thing we get in this issue is a look at the Predator they've chosen to hunt, and how he spends his days....chasing wild game...cooking wild game...eating it all in front of his prisoners and then throwing them bone clean scraps. Dick move, Pred....dick move. Not much else going on yet, but Issue #3 looks poised to let loose the mayhem. And ooooh, it will be glorious!

As for the Grade, I give it a B...it's a very pretty book, and the layout is nicely done. This issue had enough meat to keep me wanting more, but this story isn't in any hurry. It has it's own pace, and I can dig that....i just wish that pace had us at a Predator fight already. Get me there!!!
