What makes a good Arachnid imbued Gangster these days? Or even an anti-vamp Super Soldier? Illustrative All-Star Dylan Burnett (Patent Pending) knows it all.
The new Hulk series (formerly She Hulk) beautifully and sensitively addresses the experience of people living with PTSD. Rather than being in your face about it, the Hulk shows what everyday life is like with the disorder – from trying to simply remain calm to distracting oneself from harmful thoughts in any way one can.
This book is groundbreaking, testing the limits of horror and science fiction with a Lovecraftian-style.
In a dystopian near-future, government is a quaint concept, resources are coveted, and possession is 100% of the law. A handful of Families rule, jealously guarding what they have and exploiting the Waste who struggle to survive in their domains.

Everyone's best friend from the DC universe, Nightwing, is getting a new comic based in the future! But he's done making friends...
Did you read New 52 Wonder Woman by Brian Azzarello? If you did not, you should have. In fact, you should stop reading this, go find it, read it and then come back to this for added context.
The Killing Joke is one of the greatest Batman stories of all time. But it isn't perfect. Here's why...
Not all members are created equal! Check out this list of my personal favorite Teen Titans members.
Ever since the fallout of Civil War II, all MARVEL fan's have been talking about is "HYDRA CAP". It's been a very GREAT comic book run IMO, there is controversy over the story arc, and some refuse to give it a chance.
How do you bring greater representation and diversity to comics while keeping the sales up and not losing core fanbase?
So at one point in their lives, each of the Robins have been considered dead. Dick, Jason, Tim and Damian have all been "dead". I like Batman a lot but damn, he is not a great father!
As much as I love the whole Dark Phoenix story line we’ve already seen it screwed up cinematically once, so why repeat that mistake with the next movie as they are purportedly doing? So I came up with five story lines, that I think would be great to use in the next movie.
Since Rebirth, things have been pretty shaken up for Superman. You see, the version of the character that has been starring in the latest run is from the old DC universe, before the Flashpoint event occurred.
So it's an exciting time to be a Batfan! A lot of awesome things are in the pipeline for the Dark Knight Detective! The creators in charge of Batman are some of the most talented people working in the business and I am beyond greatful that they get to put their talent towards my all-time favourite character. So let's discuss!
Hamato Yoshi AKA Splinter has always been the "Master" of the turtles, their martial arts teacher, leader, and mentor. In IDW TMNT, he's actually their biological father, reincarnated (check out the TMNT micro-series, or the 2016 FCBD issue). That helps give the story more depth and can sort of give validation, in some minds, for how all of this happens.
The single best comic issue I've read since Tom King's "Vision" ended.
Tom King's Kite-man revival is truly in full swing. Thanks to Batman #27, we get a new and updated origin for the villain
Read my review of the best issue of X-Men Blue so far.
Chief is back for an old school feeling Doom Patrol adventure
A laid back fairly calm issue of X-Men Blue
Green Arrow and Wonder woman team up for one wild and exciting issue.
If you've seen The Incredible Hulk film then there is no reason to buy this issue.
A rogue robot is trying to destroy time, and has prevented the life of Adolf Hitler from ever occurring. Space-protecting scientist Neela Sethi and her dinosaur-like partner Ank journey to Faith's time and ask for her help.
After its strong start, Secret Weapons second issue brings both the current threat and grander direction of the series more clearly into focus, but fails at telling as compelling a story, one that is clearly made for Valiant diehards instead of readers interested in Eric Heisserer’s work or intrigued by the cover or artwork.
The wheels are moving but taking us nowhere this issue of Xmen Gold
Even with a long hiatus, Snotgirl doesn't miss a beat
Stephen Byrne brings a clean beautiful style to this issue of Green Arrow
We are told how Bats first met Zatanna in this exciting issue of Detective Comics! Also, A.I. assassins!
Seeing the Joker not smiling is very unsettling. In fact, it is perhaps even creepier than he is with a smile.
Valiant has been building team units from their stable of characters to great success in recent years, and the newest entry, Secret Weapons, shows a whole lot of promise
Image recently announced that Extremity #1-6 will be collected in trade. No wonder! Have you read my reviews? This guy know what he's doing!
I'm not even gonna write anything fancy here, just go buy this book.
Once again X-Men Gold manages to be just "alright"
Ronan the Accuser pops up to accuse the Royal family.
Crosswind is the new book from co-creators Gail Simone, writer, and Cat Staggs, illustrator that takes a surprising twist. Remember Freaky Friday where the mother and daughter switched bodies? Well, what if instead a hardened mobster and a defeated housewife switched bodies? One thing is for sure, both may feel like a fish out of water but I'm willing to bet that as the story progresses they each have profound possibly even positive effects on each other's lives.
Theres a brand new ongoing Spider-man comic and it is written by Chip Zdarksy! How well does he handle the webbed wonder in this first issue? Check out our review to find out!

DC's latest event starts here! What mysteries await us and our heroes in Dark Days: The Forge?...
The X Book that continues to get better every issue
Regression may be the most unsettling book out right now, and I mean that in the best way possible.
Little else captures the filthy, disgusting and downright sweaty punk subculture more than ‘Chunks’.
So, there I was, four racks deep in my LCS looking for the next big thing to grab my attention and dig my teeth into...
I never thought I could get this emotional about anything that wasn't a human or a dog... But here we are!
So how does the latest Spidey film hold up? Check out our review!
We are now over halfway through 2017 and there are a lot of movies to come out before you start seeing “Best of 2017” lists but I can promise you that Baby Driver deserves it space in every one of them. Probably somewhere right at the top.
I absolutely loved it! The film was beautifully made and Patty Jenkins was a revelation! I'm so happy to say that DC and Warner Brothers did NOT screw this up.
After ages of "will they, wont they", we finally have another Hellboy film Announced: Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen!
Star Wars has a special place in my heart. I know that seems dramatic and clichéd but it’s true. It was the first fandom that I ever became a part of. Its the first franchise that I ever fully submerged myself in and geeked out with. Even before comics!
This is my idea for who should be the big bad villain that runs throughout the Marvel Cinematic universe films, after they have dealt with THANOS, the mad titan, in Avengers: Infinity War (and potentially the sequel).
I was lucky enough to go to the midnight screening of Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2. So are these characters still as loveable as they were before?...
Adam West has tragically passed away. In this article I have some recommendations of his finest work. Check it out, then check them out!
Deathstroke recently returned to Arrow for the season finale but I'm not here to write about what he has done- but rather what he should do next!
After a month-long break The Flash is finally back on our screens! And is it just me or was this a better Flashpoint episode than the premiere?
In my opinion, this week's episode was far superior to the previous one. The concept was better and therefore I was much more invested in the plot. In fact, it had me smiling throughout!
So after a year off, the Doctor has returned, and grabbed a new companion in the form of Bill!
The CW has quickly become home to DC's best TV series. Even Supergirl ended up moving channels after it's first season. You'd think four superhero shows would be enough for the network- but apparently not!...
