McFarlane Toys Mortal Kombat Display // NYTF2019

McFarlane Toys pulled out all the stops this Toy Fair, gaining attention with several reveals. One of the biggest was announcing their acquisition of the Mortal Kombat license from Warner Brothers.

Mcfarlane plans to release several 7-inch figures based on the various eras of the Mortal Kombat game series. No on-hand prototypes were available, but they did offer packaging samples as well as in-game snapshots of the lines inaugural figures Scorpion and Sub-Zero. Scorpion and Sub-Zero will debut the line in 2019 with highly articulated figures based on the MK11 design. McFarlane has confirmed their license spans the entirety of the Mortal Kombat franchise, and have plans for toys based on other games depending on sales of their initial two.
