OFF THE RACK REVIEW: STAINED #1

This was a short week for my pull box so i browsed the "New #1s" section at my local comic shop and came across STAINED from 451 Media. Technically I think it dropped last week but hey....better late than never, right?

I am a sucker for sci-fi, It's my favorite genre, and STAINED #1 struck me as a potential "under the radar" gem. And I was right...it was! Some of you may recognize the name of the writer, David Baron, as the prominent, long time Colorist for DC. I am always a fan of creators branching out and testing new avenues for their creativity.... and i hope David finds his legs as a writer. STAINED is definitely a good step in that direction.

STAINED follows a bounty hunter named Emma....her rent is due and taxes are a bitch so she kicks ass and takes names....and drops them off to an unappreciative police precinct...bar fights and shoot outs are just anothet day at the office....and I'm excited to see where this series goes.
