Bug The Adventures of Forager #1 review

Bug! The Adventures of Forager by Lee Allred,Mike Allred, and Laura Allred

When you open this book get ready for a fun, fast paced Jack Kirby inspired ride that never stops being weird. This issue takes place apparently after the main characters death that happened in a comic in 1988. I'm not overly familiar with this character so I had to look up some previous facts about him.

The books is really good and a lot of fun to read but also a little hard to read. It acts as almost a direct continuation of his previous stories which threw me off a little bit, I had to actually read this book twice to fully understand what was going on. So if weird isn't for you then this may not be the book for you and if you have no previous knowledge about this character then plan on being a little confused.

The best thing about this book to me was the art, Mike Allred is always good, but seeing him channel his inner Jack Kirby brought a smile upon my face. I especially enjoyed seeing all those classic Jack kirby characters in this book as well.

Im gonna give this book a C mostly because it's a little jarring and hard to read, but it's still fun to read and wonderful to look at.
