Regression #1 Review

Regression #1 Review

Regression written by Cullen Bunn and Art by Danny Luckert

Regression is downright disgusting, horrifying and beautiful at the same time.

Regression is the story of a man who lives his life haunted by his horrible past life. He is plagued by horrible hallucination and nightmares that affect his everyday life and to make matters worst, everyone close to him blames it on drugs. A close friend comes to him with a last resort to try to help him but will it really? With this just being the first issue you can probably guess how well that works out for our main character.

What stood out most to me is the art, sometime it's so simple but when the hallucinations happen it gets so detailed and gross, I love it. Many times I caught myself just staring at pages for minutes at a time caught up in every detail of this world. And for this to be such a dark book the coloring is very pretty and light, it's a good contrast that looks like it's gonna work well for this series

I give Regression an A for being and all around damn good book
